At a time when fake news and threats are ubiquitous on social media, the importance of accurate and reliable documentation has never been greater. In this discussion, we will reflect together on the role that documentaries and other media can play in the fight against disinformation and misinformation, and how we can find constructive approaches.

We will take a look at the different forms of storytelling we find in today's media landscape.  From investigative journalism to citizen journalism, from documentary film to the reel, we will examine the different approaches to documenting reality and informing society.
