Festival Center D'24
The building at the corner of Kantstraße and Uhlandstraße in Berlin is an icon—architecturally distinguished by its striking curved glass facade, but more importantly known for its inner values (which, as we know, are what truly matter):
Since its opening in 1999, it has gradually become a unique "Knowledge Hub" for top-quality interior design. Spanning nearly 20,000 square meters across four floors around a bright atrium, it houses 40 showrooms and stores covering every aspect of home living—offering around 400 brands that are integrated into sophisticated interior design plans. Everything related to home living, from flooring to ceiling lights, tiles to art, seating to beds, audio systems to plants, is available here as a one-of-a-kind "one-stop shop."
This uniqueness also makes LIVING BERLIN the center of the so-called Design District of the capital, surrounded over the past two and a half decades by numerous small and often highly specialized interior design shops.
Additionally, LIVING BERLIN is a venue for special exhibitions and events related to art, culture, and of course design—and this year, it will host the Dokumentale for the first time.
In celebration of its 25th anniversary this year, LIVING BERLIN is presenting itself fully renovated after extensive modernization, featuring a new, light-filled main entrance. Fittingly, this entrance also boasts a widescreen display, effectively serving as the first screen for the Dokumentale 2024, where trailers and the festival program will be showcased.
