Love & Trouble
Amy Hardie / United Kingdom, Germany / 2024 / 90 min
What should have been one of the happiest times becomes a nightmare. After the birth of their child, Kerry and Kenny’s marriage seems to be falling apart. Kenny’s post-traumatic stress disorder is triggered by the baby’s crying, making it difficult for Kenny to distinguish between reality and fear. But they don’t give up. Over the course of ten years, we follow them on their healing journey, both individually and together. Talk therapy, horses, and ice baths help them find themselves and become more resilient.
