Covid-19 From Outer Space

Vera Borniotto, Lea Borniotto, Edoardo Nervi / / 6 min

This film is part of an event.

In homage to the iconic director Edward D. Wood Jr., the filmmakers set out to create a short film freely inspired by his cult classic Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959). But instead of flying saucers and eerie resurrections, they place their story in the harsh reality of the global Coronavirus pandemic—a time suspended between fear and absurdity, where the unimaginable became real.
